Hello Lize,
A happy New Year to you!!!
I love blue and white too and my favorite is the english Spode!!!
In 2007 i visited their factory in beautiful Staffordshire, England. They had a factory outlet with prices so low you wont believe it. Unfortunately my luggage was already occupied with my french dollhouse, but I managed to by a few items and fit them in anyway!!!
(My suitcase was 32 kilo!!!)
Beautiful pictures Lize :)

I love it. But my favourite blue is Wedgewood soft jasper blue. I love it so much that my kitchen walls are painted in that shade. Have a great time Rosanna

That nice, I am remembered(reminded) very much by the typical ceramics of some zones of andalucia
The detail of flowers of fabric is perfect.
An embrace

Absolutely! Blue and white is such a classic combination but never boring. Lovely photographs and your new header looks great with the gorgeous silver pitcher.

Oh yes, I love blue and white - especially china. And your miniatures are absolutely beautiful!
Your photos are perfection also.
My home china pattern has been discontinued for a while but it's called "Empire" and it's by Ralph Lauren. It's blue and white with a slight gold rim.

Oh, I do love Spode (Synnove's choice) and Wedgewood (Rosanna's favourite) too! And even though I was not familiar with Empire, made by Ralph Lauren (Kristina's every day china), I checked it out on Replacements.com, and it it very pretty!

I bought a whole set of blue and white when I was in Bangkok too! Although they are really not so suitable for my Indian Palace. Although my "blue and white" phase is over now :) for real life wares. Maybe its because I am Chinese that I am not so fascinated with it, you think? :)

Your new header is so beautiful and it's really hard to tell it's a miniature!

I love the white and blue combination too! And your photos are gorgeous! For serving tea and coffee I have collected different blue and white landscape patterns from all over Europe, and have now more than 60 different patterns :-)

Just have to respond to your comment, Sans! I would expect the opposite, you being Chinese would make you more interested in blue and white china as there is so much history attached to it. We have got some gorgeous 17th century Chinese dishes and vases, I love them. I am also aware of how important the Chinese (blue and white) porcelain has been for our Delft pottery. Still, I am sure not everyone in Holland likes or is interested in Delftware either, haha!

Helene, you are very lucky to have so many different blue and white landscape patterns. And even though it must be hard to choose, I am sure you have a particular favourite! I find it interesting that you like modern things, yet you collect something so traditional.

Sans, I have a great excuse for blue and white in the Maharajah's palace! It was gifted to him by one or another head of state... I am sure you can make up a brilliant story with your (often wild ;-) imagination! Yes I know, blue and white has been around too long for the Chinese... and familiarity sometimes breed... not necessarily contempt, but a feeling of 'just another piece of Ming... Allow us to indulge in what 'you'; discovered so long ago, and our ancestors only very recently!

Lize, it's true I usually prefer modern design, but I'm also very interested in history and since we live in a house that's over a hundred years old, I think the traditional patterns suits it. My favourites by the way are the plates and cups from Swedish Höganäs, in fayance.

I love the pictures you've posted! my mini tea sets are white and blue! Just love these colours.
I love all the little details in your pictures. It is always like peeping throught somebody's window and discovering the perfect home where you just want to sit and have a sip of champagne...hmmm...
